The Cultural Landscape Legacies, Inc., Annual Tour will occur on Saturday, October 13th. Tours stops will be made at Lizard Mound County Park and the Nitschke Mound Group. Participants should meet at the new pavilion at Lizard Mound County Park near West Bend at 10:00 a.m. After the tour of Lizard Mound County Park, the group will caravan to the Nitschke site where we will have a brown bag lunch and discussion of mound related topics and CLL business. Bring your own lunch (or stop in West Bend to grab something on the way to Nitschke). There is no cost for the tour but donations to CLL are appreciated.
For those who wish to carpool, we will leave Muscoda (Riverway Board office) at 6:30 and Spring Green (Jewell and Associates) at 7:00. For those driving separately, Lizard Mound County Park directions from West Bend are to take Hwy. 144 North and then turn right on County Highway A.
